Say about the Ghostbusters reboot what you will (personally, I stay away from reboots anyway, as they never satisfied me), but the leaked e-mails about the production are just the worst… writing disabilities, intrigues, underhandedness, plain stupidity, uncreative influencing of people thinking they are creative and a director pitching and greenlighting some crazy ideas just by writing an email to a studio CEO.
If your prejudice about studio bosses being humans without heart, intelligence, team spirit and a sense of what movie making is actually about needs a prove, these kindergarten-like e-mails are the thing, sadly. No doubt, Sony has some big problems at the executive floor. Not even close to comparable what Disney does at the moment (and they do it great)…
