I will never forget when I found this back when I was around 13 via my modem on some BBS.
With wide eyes I stared at the screen and couldn’t believe what Purple Motion was able to do with Scream Tracker 3 on a regular PC. The whole programming of this 8 channel monster must have taken ages. It’s the Bohemian Rahpsody of the music demo scene, a holy grail, a masterpiece at the limit of what was doable at the time with that particular method. Holy shit, alone watching the thing running through so many different sample trackings including immediate speed changes and hitting you with twists and turns along the way and all that shit gives me goosebumps. The whole Future Crew was just way ahead of everybody. Fuck, Purple Motion was probably around 16 when he programmed and wrote this! I could hear his tracks anytime and feel nostalgic and happy.
