After I have watched it nearly 20 years ago on VHS, I finally purchased Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor on DVD. It has not lost its cheesy magic for me. It’s trash at its best, with a nearly as bad German voice-over. Despite it’s bad reviews, I still like the look, the effects, the camera work, the movie set and the self-irony. It’s a little bit like reading cheesy pulp fiction with a lot of nonsense.
