„If there is a movie worth made in 3D, it’s this one“, said Werner Herzog. And he was right. I’ve not seen any movie that was so impressive and so right in 3D than his latest work and I’m glad I watched it with glasses.<\/p>\n

The movie doesn’t have any form or dramaturgy, story or direction. Herzog relies completely on his voice, the monstrous soundtrack<\/a> and the impression of the cave. It’s enough.<\/p>\n

It’s like traveling in time. No, not like. It is<\/span> time travel. It’s like stepping back 32.000 years. It’s like watching a vast scenery, frozen in time. Everything is still there. Burnt wood from torches, footsteps in the sand, and the paintings. It’s like watching all of this from a small corridor directing right through it, still accessible in our time period, and represented by the small iron plates leading over the ground in the cave, that -ironically- the film crew is not allowed to leave for one inch.<\/p>\n
